My fuel system has hardlines that are 10mm OD, 8mm ID or .3150" (which is really close to 6AN)

I was planning on running PTFE 6AN hoses from the hardlines to the fuel rail and fpr, but the required fittings that I want in a certain color combination are sold out. However, I can purchase the hose, all the fittings (and adapters) in 8AN pretty easily.

So - would there be any downsides in having the hose section of my fuel system at 8AN while the rest of the system is 6AN?

I certainly wouldn't expect there to be - other than being a little more expensive and maybe harder to fit.
