Morning all

I am going to be tuning an RB26 and I'd like to formulate a tuning strategy. I have watched the webinar on tuning a boosted application with ITBs but I am in a bit of a confused state as the ECU that I will be tuning is very different and I really don't want to make any mistakes. on top of all this the car will be road tuned. Is it a dumb idea to disconnect a boost pipe just to tune the TPS vs RPM matrix? then reconnect to do the boost compensation? the timing is exactly the same setup

I just completed a similar task on mine. I started with wastegate pressure and no boost control on and get the timing set conservatively. then go about filling in the fuel table. just go up 500 or 1000 rpm at a time at the different throttle positions until you get to the limit. After the fueling is good then go about boost control and timing. ideally you’ll have a 4d fuel table for load based fuel compensation when you set up the boost control. Probably no one would recommend road tuning the high end due to vehicle speed.
