What is everyone running for ignition? i know the stock coil packs can make 1000hp but thats with plug gap at .17. is there a better set of coil packs that will allow a better plug gap? has anyone had better luck with a certain brand/coil? or a cdi setup? does that require stand alone or can it be run with kprov4?
A friend of mine used Okada plasma ignition coils on his k24 and claimed to get some additional power but i can't remember the exact number of hp he gained. Following his advise I bought them too for my 4g64 engine but it didn't work out at all, I sold them. Bought upgraded version of coils and also sold them))
PRP make an very nice r35 coil conversion kit for k series engines with the r35 coil packs being well proven to generate very good spark at stupid power levels and boost levels
