Hey guys,

planning on running 2x walbro 255lph twin pump intank setup on my r33 gtr as I’m lossing fuel pressure on boost/high rpm using a single 465lph walbro, what’s the best way to setup the second pump, currently have 1000cc injectors running e50

I was thinking running the one pump full time and second pump either on single condition injector duty cycle >40% OR using 2 condition rpm vs 10psi boost.

any suggestion if I should do it differently.

thanks in advance!

The problem you're going to have is that if these pumps are run in parallel (which I'm assuming they are), you're likely to have some weirdness in the fuel pressure when you switch on the second pump. I'd imagine that you'll see the fuel pressure jump a little when the pump switches on. In turn this will impact your fuelling. The better option would be to control the voltage to the pumps which is often done with a factory fuel pump controller. Essentially this provides 8-9 volts at low load before stepping up to full voltage at higher load.

Twin 255's really aren't overkill to be honest and if it was me I'd just run them at full voltage and call it done.
