Hi,

I have a customer with a Can Am Maverick XR3s turbo buggy running EMtron SL6 plug in kit. The ECU along with a bigger turbo kit was purchased by the customer from Packard Performance a few years ago and he has now brought it in for tuning.

As far as I am aware, the EMtron is supposed to have a base calibration already installed to suit the engine, however after connecting with the ECU I noticed that the engine config shows a 2000cc 4cyl engine setup and this vehicle has the 1000cc 3cyl engine... obviously this is the wrong calibration. There are only a small selection of base cals in the software also and none seem to relate to this vehicle.

I have tried contacting Packard and EMtron and haven't received a reply as yet, so I figured it may be worth asking here.

I haven't tuned one of these vehicles or engines previously. It would save me a whole heap of time if I don't have to go searching for specific engine data online.

Many thanks.

Gavin,

Hopefully the dealer selling the kit will provide the file you're looking for next business day. I just took a quick peak on the website and don't see it there at this time.

Still nothing back from EMtron or Packard. Just a bump to see if anyone would have a base cal?

I'm sorry to hear that. I feel quite spoiled by Emtron USA support as they're great.

I've reached out and got you the files. Please email me at mike@hpacademy.com and I'll reply with them.

I'm hoping you got the files as I haven't received an email from you, but if you still need this, I'm here.

Mike, I really appreciate that. I have sent an email across just now.

Many thanks.

You're welcome!
