Hello everyone,

So I started to tune my engine, reached peak 0.8 bars of boost and VE table looks kind of wrong for me.

As far as I know, VE numbers should be around 80 at max rpm and full boost?

Considering it's a stock Audi 5 cylinder engine, AAN, 2.2 turbo.

Stock cams

Stock turbo (max 270hp)

1000cc injectors

Everything else is stock, as well as the fuel pump or FPR.

In fuel settings I did set injector size to 1000cc.

I have reached the target lambda of 0.79 at 105 VE.

Injectors DC in the log are at 30%.

Could be the FPR or stock fuel pump be the reason for such high numbers, or maybe wrong injector calibration?

Thank you.

It's not uncommon for VE numbers to exceed 100% in a well designed engine. In general the VE table will follow the shape of the torque curve so you'll see the numbers peak around peak torque before dropping away at high rpm. You also need to understand that an aftermarket ECU using a VE fuel model is only going to be as accurate as the inputs to the ECU and incorrect injector data or a variation in fuel pressure will affect the numbers you need in the VE table.
