I watched the webinar on removing the balance shaft and wanted to share this info I found about keeping the transmissions from failing. I was curious what you thought of this opinion. I have a friend with an EVO 9, currently running with the balance shaft and just wanted to get other opinions.

Interesting read, with many good points made. I believe Porsche introduced dual mass flywheels for the flat 6 because of rear bearing failures with the one-piece flywheels in the larger capacity variants.
Have those of you working on engines with balance shafts, not just the 4G63, noticed these things?
