Hi, I am using ECUmaster EMU pro 8 to control my 13 my brz fa20 engine.

The engine setup is:

1. Pipercam "ultimate road" spec camshaft;

2. Direct injection system removed, only port injection with dw1500cc injectors;

3. Piston and rod replaced to suit turbo charge, using g25 660 turbo. Before removing DI injector, the compression ratio was near 10.5, but after rebuild the engine, my engine builder didn't mesure new engine displacement and compression ratio, so in ECU, I leave it with 2050cc engine displacement;

4. Dry sump system, using aviaid pump, idle and low load oil pressure is around 5 bar;

5. New inlet cam sprockets.

6. Runing E85 fuel.

Right now the problem is like this:

When coolant and oil temperature exceed 70°C, cranking VE is still 123%(very high,when cold start, cranking VE is 198%). After start, idle VE is 84 to maintain lambda=1. When VVT solenoid output DC is 0, I set cam angle to 0, then I start to increase DC, when DC is 44%, inlet cam angle moves to -

27°, then I continue to increase DC to 55%, cam angle moves to 37°(which is about right).

When inlet cams are both aroung -27°, to maintain lambda=1, VE needs to change to 54%(which seems normal? but not fit my big franking ve).

My exhaust VVT is working fine, I can use ECUmaster's builtin tool to configue steady state DC, PID and cam angle, etc. But when I try use this VVT tool to configure my inlet cams, software reports VVT angle range too low. I guess this relates with the first -27° movement of cam.

These problems are very weird, I have no idea why this happens! Please help! thanks.

sorry guys, I found a file, turns out inlet cam can retart 24° and advance 44°! There is no problem at all!
