Hello friends

Can anyone comment on this load sensor or alternative, more cost effective, sensors:

This one seems a bit costly at 400+ USD.

Thanks in advance

I use those on several cars, including my wife's race car. If you're getting them for $400 you've got a good source.

Hi David

Thank you for your Input on this.

Hi again,

What is the preferred mounting method in your opinion? ie. embedded within the gear knob (angular movement) vs integrated (push / pull) or other proven techniques ?

Your help is highly appreciated.

TIA

D

"The Load Cells are generally installed into the actuator rod or cable on sequentialgearboxes."

It's a longitudinal design strain gauge.

Thank you Gord.

Here is how that sensor is installed onto the end of our shift cable.
