Afternoon,
I am currently experiencing a load limitation in the high rpm range on my Gen1 B58 DIY tune.
I have my load limitation tables set at 180 but see a gradual reduction in my logged load limit with increased rpm.
I'm using the BM3 reflash software to tune in which I have scoured through the tables and table descriptions but can't find the table that is being used during this limitation period.
If anyone has any experience in tuning this engine, using any software variations, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Shaun
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Have you verified all other limits i.e. airflow, torque, perhaps turbo shaft speed?
Guys, I think I can help!!!! Did you get it figured out?
Hi Nick,
Thanks for replying.
In my case it appeared to be a load limitation for OPF protection.
Ahhh gotcha, there’s a million limiters that are hidden in that ECU I’ve been working very closely with one of the bigger becoming bigger tuners in the B5 a community and he’s been teaching me about all the limiters, and what not bro as a fan of cars in the way cars working technology that B 58 EU is a fucking masterpiece. I’m down to chat about whatever when it comes to ECU I’m getting a really really really good grip of it and I’m here to help
Thanks Nick.
Do you have an email address that I can contact you on? I have a couple of things that you may be able to help me with.
