Hi all.

We have an endro car running a RB30/26 2wd and to be able to get the power to the ground we have been looking into ways of setting boost to be mapped at ground speed.

Has anyone done this on a g4 link?

Thanks

Hey Nick, yes, your options are pretty wide when it comes to controlling boost vs ground speed. Typically I actually do it via gear rather than speed but the end result is similar. You'll obviously need a speed sensor and if you want to do gear dependent boost control then you will need to 'teach' the ECU the relationship between speed and rpm for each gear.

You might want to have a look at our boost control course. Right now the course includes a full worked example on the M1 ECU but the principles are applicable to any ECU. We will be adding a worked example on a Link G4+ in the near future. Check it out here - https://www.hpacademy.com/courses/boost-control/
