Hey guys i have the haltech ps2000 with all the goodies on my car but the only thing it doesnt support is knocksensors, Now as a novice DIY tuner i get awful worried about that having that data to gauge how my adjustments are going so thought id ask a couple of questions regarding the issue

1. Can i get a stand alone knock sensor setup and intergrate that into my ecu so it can be datalogged

2. Can a warning via light or audiable sensor be setup

3. Will i be forced to upgrade to the Eliete ecu for the function

Cheers Guys

You could use a Plex knock detection equipment or Phormula KS-4 and forward the 0-5 V signal into PS2000 AVI input as a raw data. Of course you will not be able to have working knock control, it's only about logging. If you want knock control, you should upgrade to Elite ECU or similar
