I’m after some help setting up an e6x on a Mitsubishi Magna 4g54 4cyl efi

I need to know how to setup the ignition and trigger setup

its an electronic distributor with -15 degrees to +15 degrees on crank pulley

I haven't tuned an older Haltech E6 for years now so I can't be very helpful. Have you had a look through their manul to see if there is any info there?

If no one on here can help, I would suggest contacting Haltec support.

Yeah I have had a look and it does say stuff about it but I don’t understand it and I have now lost spark as well so I don’t understand what’s going on

I just don’t know what the trigger angle is in trigger set up and ignition setup

The trigger angle will be referring to the offset angle of the trigger system. I won't be able to give you the exact number for this as it will depend on how the distributor is phased. You will require a timing light to set this offset accurately.

The only real way the offset could stop spark would be if it was firing so far out it was between cylinder poles in the cap and spark jumping somewhere else, although this would be proven by checking if you're getting spark out of the coil.

Are you getting RPM in the ecu? If so then I would be checking power supply etc at coil.
