I have a 2006 Mustang GT 3V boosted with a 61mm turbo. The previous tuner has the car idling at 900rpm. It's like the car just screaming at you. I asked the previous tuner if they could tune that down. I was told, "that's how they set them". My question is why would one want to do that?
I wouldn't have said that 900 rpm is ridiculous, however unless the engine is fitted with a large cam, this is also probably unnecessary. I'd try using the stock idle targets and see how you get on.
Thanks Andre. The engine is not fitted with a large cam. It has an after market one, but the rpm was the same way before that change was made. I will try the stock idol targets.
