I have a question about the 2ZZ-GE engine and other setup data.

hello.

I don't speak English, so I may ask questions through a translator, so mistranslations may occur. Please understand.

Currently, the MR2 Spyder is being operated in Korea and is being used with a turbo installed on the 2ZZ-GE engine. The body system uses the original ECU, the engine system uses Haltech, and the turbo uses the Greddy controller. Since the map cannot be done on a dyno, I am driving it on regular roads and editing it by looking at the data log.

My problem is

1. While driving the vehicle, press the clutch to stop, put the gear in neutral, and slowly reduce the speed, maintaining a high RPM (approximately 1300~1500RPM) and returning to the normal idle state when the speed reaches zero. I want to know the reason. (screenshot attached)

2. I do not know the basic data information to operate the VVT (Cam Control, Cam Control switched) system. Therefore, it cannot be used above 5000 RPM.

3. I have connected the Evap system, but I don't know what input values I need to fill in for that part.

4. When driving at a constant speed, if you press the accelerator pedal only slightly, O2 Control may not be able to compensate and the vehicle may shake. (Repeat AFR 11~13) In this case, would it be okay to slightly lower the TPS OFF voltage?

This is my current curiosity. We desperately need help. I will leave my map data and data log files.

1) Moving vs. stationary idle can have different speed targets, also on decel there's an initial airflow setting used until the engine speed drops down within a window to the idle target, at which point closed loop idle control takes over and pulls idle down.

2) I'd ask Haltech or your Haltech dealer if they have specific setup info for that on their ECU.

3) Mirroring a stock system would require thorough datalogging of the stock system so you can then attempt to replicate it. I've not done this on that particular engine so unfortunately I don't have that data to share. Logging engine speed, airflow, manifold pressure, fuel tank pressure on a stock vehicle the engine came from would help build the model.

4) Over enrichment due to throttle position increase could be related to excessive accel enrichment, or entering a cell in the VE table which is set too high. If you don't get the rich condition when at steady state in each cell, then you have most likely narrowed it down to an accel enrichment setting. I would also verify that your TPS scaling is proper, and that the TPS sensor input is stable and not noisy or erratic, since that can cause over reactions of the accel enrichment system.

And I'm sorry, but I'm not clear what you are trying to show with the screen shot. Please let us know.

Thank you for answer.

I would like to send you my map data and data log. However, it is not possible to attach it here, so if you send me an email, I will send it to you.

I attached the screenshot because I thought it was related to question 1. This happens during slow deceleration when the gear is in neutral. The 11 degrees set in Zero demand is fixed and the RPM is fixed at 1300~1500, and returns to normal idle when it comes to a complete stop.

JC,

You can zip files and then attach here.

I have attached your files. Please confirm.
