I'm curious about the ignition cut percentage function mentioned in the recent webinar titled "Configuring the Ultimate RPM limiter".

What is it a percentage of exactly?

I assume it may be a percentage reduction of ignition events within a specific time but I'm not sure.

G'day Abdulla

The 90% is the percentage of ignition events that are cut. On our 350Z, if the engine is spinning at 4000rpm, there are 200 ignition events per second. The ECU would cut 90% of these, to leave 20 of them still being fired.

Thank you Zac and G'day.
