Is there a webinar or section in one of my courses ? That I can rewatch that covers how many degrees of timing retard pr pound of Boost ?? Hence 2 degrees of timing retard for every 50 H.P. shot of Nitrous . Terry
It depends on the engine but if you need a rule of thumb, 1 degree per psi is a starting point. So if you have a spark map or even dare I say a distributor curve, and you run 30 degrees at peak power rpm, retard that to 15 degrees if you have 15psi boost. But go to an actual dyno and check.
