Hi there, have a situation where we need to take our jetboat down to the river to start tuning. someone said you needed wifi. so thinking I need to hotspot my mobile phone so the laptop has internet access. is this true? or do you not need internet to do a full tune? guessing its only needed for help file etc.

The G4+ has the help file built into the software AFAIK, they might be thinking for sending the data live to someone on the sidelines to make alterations to the map.
The datalogging on the G4+ is really powerful so I don't see how you couldn't just use this
