Hi. I have a 99 civic with a k24a2 with type s oil pump, 09 tsx intake cam w/50°vtc gear, skunk 2 ultra street intake manifold, 90mm throttle body, acuity hall effect TPS, skunk 2 4 bar map, Bosch 1000cc injectors, hellcat 535lph fuel pump, fuel pressure is at 60psi, running sidewinder manifold with 44mm tial waste gate and a gt35 turbo, greedy profec boost controller, aem wideband, on E85 using KProV4 to dial it all in. First can someone look at my map and make sure it's decent enough to run for a while? The closest dyno tuner to me wants $1000 to tune my car. Which is outrageous imo. So I've been street tuning it the best I can. I also have a log file of me doing a pull on the highway through a couple gears if that will help? Oh I'm also running the 03 Accord 5 speed so it's has taller gears. If any other info is needed just ask. Lastly I've heard of remote tuning? Would that be something to consider?
Thanks
Tom
Located in Colorado USA. High altitude sucks!
How much time does the tuner expect to spend with your car? How much dyno time?
Personally I think turning variable cam, VTEC, boost control, and E85 / flex fuel for $1000 sounds like a pretty fair deal, especially if it's not a stand-alone ECU. That is not a particularly simple setup.
forgot to upload this, sorry
for some reason it wont let me upload the datalog file. is there something i need to do differently?
I dont know how much time he was planning on spending with my car. I guess I'm still getting used to post covid inflation. When i worked at a performance shop with an AWD eddie brake dyno we were never that high priced, but that was before the pandemic. So if y'all are saying that is not an unreasonable price then I suppose I'll just suck it up and pay it when i can afford to, but in the mean time if anyone can look at my map and make sure there isn't anything potentially dangerous to my motor i would be very greatful. Thanks
