I have a LINK G4+ Xreme with an LS3, which has the 24x reluctor wheel.
I have the LS3 front timing cover with the second trigger sensor.
Currently the ECU is setup using the LS1 5-10 config, i just wanted to check whether this is correct or not before i take the car out to start tuning. It starts fine and runs. I drove it back from the shop about 2-3 miles after the ECU was fitted and seemed OK, other than needed a lot of work on the base tune.
These are the settings it currently has, i'm more worried about whether it is meant to be set to rising or falling on the trigger edge setting -

I've also noticed when the laptop is plugged into the ECU and the car is running (or not) the Ign angle will sit steady but every 5-10 seconds it will flick to 0 extremely quickly and jump back to 15. Is this normal?
There are two different varieties of the 24X pattern. One has 5 & 10 deg wide teeth and the other has 3 & 12deg teeth. The 5/10 is the most common. You will get trigger errors reported in the software if it is set to the wrong choice. Rising is the correct edge for this engine.

No, I would say that doesnt sound right. Can you check you are using the latest version of PC Link and latest firmware?
I dont have any errors and on the 5-10 settings.
Yeah i am on the latest firmware and software. I just had the car running and the ign angle was actually stable so hopefully its ok now.
