hi there ,is anyone able to unlock a g4 ecu the person who originally tuned it has gone bankrupt and they supplied the ecu so unsure of dealer brought from in the uk ,we dont want too loose the map just need to unlock it

You cannot access locked intellectual property, but you can start fresh at any point by uploading an unlocked calibration to the ECU.

Yes should be able. To copy every detail of map on a new one appreciate the help

You will not be able to "copy every detail of map" on a new one, because map data is not visible when locked.
I would do a lot of logging on the dyno with the original map. If you can log ignition timing, and or fuel pulse widths and a few trims, you won't be exactly starting from scratch.
Okay guys cheers the fuel map was fully visible, i haven't checked the timing yet will see what's on show
