Load calculation could be based off MAP or TPS. Is this a choice the tuner makes or a function of the engine or ECU?
On my software, both Injection and Ignition maps are based off TPS, even though there is a table for MAP vs Injection. The latter table is left blank when the engine does have a MAP sensor.
TPS based load is usually reserved for engines that have individual throttle bodies. In almost every other case I'd recommend using MAP as your load input.
Thank you Andre. Case in point is a single cylinder dirt bike. The ECU/software functions are rudimentary compared to automotive ones shown on your courses.
