I’ve try to start 13B engine with Storm (old) ecu (but upgraded FW to 5.6.2 version).

First, I’ve checked trigger offset with procedure in help file, turn all injectors off, lock ignition timing to 0 degree, set trailing split table to -20, attached timing light to trailing plug and crank the engine.

the 20ATDC mark is stable point to the pin. look very good.

When I start up the engine and run at idle, I try to re-check Trigger offset again, Lock the timing to 0 degree with Trailing -20 degrees, attached timing light to trailing plug.

The mark has move to 25+ degrees!-advance.

Then I’ve try to corrected the offset again until mark point to the pin, unlock the timing, but the engine look like idle as too much retard!

Another issue, during I've lock the ignition timing at idle and I try to rev the engine up a little bit, the mark is always move to much advance!

I've re-check both trigger polarity with trigger scope, they are correct shape (falling egde) and do the correct wiring.

which part I've to consider?

Thank you in advance.

Joe
