Afternoon,

Can one of you fine people that have configured the plex for per cylinder monitoring please advise if I am seeing the right things. I think I am, but a fresh pair eyes never hurts.

I have attached my trigger config, a screen shoot of the raw knock sensor trace.

I know I have the trigger pattern right. What is baffling me is the cycling of the under tooth values and getting sync errors, any ideas?

For reference, I have dual sensors working fine and have set everything up.

Many thanks,

Richard.

Just an update to this to resolve it.

The cycling of tooth under and over was normal and was down to OEM 2 tooth gap being a smidge out according to Plex.

If anyone is ever trying to set this up in the future using crank and cam sync. If the cam won’t sync you need to apply a weak bias to the signal.

Do this by creating a dummy CAN channel to give a 0-5v signal. U will need to scope the cam and crank signals and work out the high low voltages.

Then set the CAN up for the voltage you need and push this out of one of Aux channels into the negative cam feed into the Plex. Boom, u will get sync.

This made my brain hurt a lot to solve it. So hopefully it helps someone.
