Hi
Just did a harness for 1jze on fuletech 550.
Not getting any rpm when cranking. Confirmed the wiring is correct. Changed sensor still no rpm.
Any thoughts on what I could be missing?
Corey,
That's not an ECU I use so I don't know if it has scope function option, but if you've already checked wiring and feel the signal should be present, and your trigger settings are correct, I'd verify the signal via an internal scope function, or by using an actual oscilloscope.
That way you can spot potential issues like damaged trigger teeth, inadequate voltage or otherwise.
If you'd like to post your trigger settings, perhaps we can spot something there.
What do you have your BTDC set to?
Can you screen shot the settings for the crank sensor
What type sensor/sender are you using, is it correctly identified as such in the ECU with the correct input pins identified, are you sure you have the right polarity, have you confirmed the correct air-gap, is the timing disc correctly selected in the ECU, etc?
It's all very well saying things like "the wiring is correct", and it may be as you intended, but is that correct for the actual application?
