Hi new to the site first I will give engine specs. 1996 Evo IV with built 2.3 motor, stock evo 8 turbo, stock injectors. Upgraded fuel pump and lines. 3 inch exhaust. EMU Black.

I am trying to configure flat shift that i can get a one pop between gears. I am currently using fuel cut and I am using a clutch switch which is also used for LC. car peaks at 25psi and tapers back to 18-20 at redline. I fall to about 10 psi while using flat shift but i find it feels like car falls too low in boost range which could be due to stock actuator but my main thing is getting the flat shift correct for when I swap in bigger turbo and aftermarket manifold etc. I just want a one or two bang between gears.

I think is because the fuel cut, I don't know the exact software of the EMU black, but most systems use RPM parameters and timing retard only for the flatshift, I usualy retard between 0 to 15 degres, without fuel cut, that will give to you the amount of exhaust presure to keep your turbo spooling in range.

Then you adjust the ignition delay according to the boost that you want to get.

If youy can post a screen shoot of the EMU black flatshift section of the software.

Here is the flat shift settings. But now out of nowhere, i have a more severe issues now when i engage clutch car goes dead as a doornail no power like its fuel cut and takes forever to come back on which i don't understand. Additionally, lc is not working which uses the same switch. I checked the voltage in ecu and switch seems to be operating fine.

Post on the ECU Masters Group page also. Those guys will be able to give EMU Black specifics. You could then share what you find out back on here so everyone gets an answer.
