Hi

I do noticed that my manifold pressure or boost is quite oscillating under full load - see picture attached.

This example is at 0 DC - just spring pressure - but looks the same at higher boost and constant wastegate DC

Setup:

PTE7275

46mm PTE wastegate attached to bottom of turbine housing

What could be the root cause for that? any leakage maybe or just normal?

THanks in advance for all support and comments :-)

Misfires can cause it to fluctuate with a lot more or less energy in the exhaust manifold than usual depending on how well/where it ignites.

What frequency are you logging at and is the MAP sensor on a common plenum or individual runner, if it's individual runner and not sampling synchronous with engine cycles you can get what looks like wild swings which is signal aliasing.

There are a lot of things it may be, or a mixture of several.

What is the timescale of that section of graph, and can you post the full graphs?

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
