Morning all,

I have just installed a Ross performance crank and cam trigger on my RB and ready for startup,

Its already running a G4+ plug in and some unknown trigger kit off crank only on wasted spark.

Im using the 36 - 2 tooth pulley with cheery hall sensors for both triggers.

using the factory wiring and the following settings

Will I need to adjust base ignition timing and can I now select direct spark rather than wasted ?

Apologies for simple questions but im still learning

hello yes, you are correct in your set up I normally use rising edge for the crank and pick the cam edge by using the trigger scope function. the way to work this out is to take a trigger capture and look at the rising and falling edges of the pattern, you cannot use both rising if they rise together at the same time or fall at the same time, use the f1 help file to see how this works, and you can only select direct spark if the coils are wired in a direct spark manner. ignition 1 to coil 1 ignition 2 to coil etc use the ignition test function to check this. and yes you will have to set the base timing using the trigger offset function,

hope this helps
