just installed a hall effect crank sensor on a 2JZ with a 36-2 trigger wheel. I have both crank and cam sensors set to rising edge on the trigger, got it running and I locked timing to 10 degrees at idle and only had to adjust the offset 2 degrees and it's on the money. Im just wondering if my trigger edges are correct, or if it really matters at this point since the timing is already spot on.

rev it up and check for timing drift. lock the spark at ten, see if the timing light moves.
Im planning to do this tomorrow. And if the timing stays stable then the trigger edge should be left alone right.
