I just saw the Seadoo video, and i want to ask Andre something very strange that i saw happening with the Seadoos engines.
Is there something special about those engines that explains the need for "too much" ignition timing even with pump fuel. ( Take a look at Motec's base maps )
Thanks in advance.
At this point we haven't got either ski running on a programmable ECU and haven't investigated the ignition advance at all. The optimal timing for a particular engine is very dependent on the mechanical design of the engine and it's not uncommon for small bore, small displacement, high rpm engines such as those common in the sport bike market to run much more advance than we would consider 'normal' in the automotive market.
Hi,are there tutorials based on seadoo ski?interested since i'm only focused on seadoo tuning.
regards.
