Hi,

I want to inquire regarding of simulator device for the Ecu. What’s the main benefits? what we can do with it (control - input - output etc…)? Is it good for beginners to learn how to tune? Can it be benefit to learn how to tune step by step?

If there are any others information, please advice.

Which device are you looking at? Different devices have different functionality and ease of use.

You can do some "tuning" with them, but you do not get the same feedback as you would normally get from a live engine.

It is from Haltech “ Haltech ECU Tester kit “.

Of course we will not get the same feedback as from a live engine for example: coolant Temp etc…

But at least it can help in learning the tuning steps, how to calibrate and operate the sensors and how they work etc…

that’s will be enough to get started.

This piece of gear is for hardware diagnostics of the box itself, and while it could be neat piece of gear to have (now that I know its being offered I'm tempted to purchase one give how many out of warranty repairs I've done to Elites and their less than stellar solder joins) I wouldn't waste the money on one unless you're interested in supporting and repairing Haltechs locally.
