Are there any members that run Specialist Component systems ?

im looking for a management system for a s65b40 that runs the vanos and dbw found theirs but never heard of it

Thanks Kim

We have done a number of installs with Life Racing product on this engine with great success. You do have to modify the DBW motors to remove the CAN functionality, but this is not a big job. Also you do not run the idle valve. Idle control is done through the two DBW motors and ignition timing.

Hellow Richard

Thanks for the reply. i wil look into that also.

i found several systeems to explore and my last option would be a dta s100 i can have a base map for this also

not sure how the DTA will handle the dual DBW motors. You will need to check with them.

If the engine is still in a BMW, then Syvecs would be the way to go. If the ECU is in another project then go Life Racing and save yourself some money. Syvecs is all based on LR technology (they do add their own features for vehicle integration on top of the base LR product).

Price will not be near the Specialist product but then it depends how good their product is and the features you get for your money.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
