On a 355 cubic inch v8 engine that has individual throttle bodies but has a good map sensor collector with a large cam that only gets 35 - 40 kpa of vacume. Would it be better using TPS over map sensor?

ITB =TPS as the load axis no matter what.

Agreed with @ludo86. With individual throttle bodies the MAP signal is no longer a good indication of engine load. Depending on the throttle body size and engine specs, you are likely to see atmospheric pressure from as little as 30-40% TP. Alpha-n is the only option.

the main ignition table and target lambda table will still have MAP on the load axis though?
