Having a bit of an odd issue that I’m hoping to hear some ideas on.
04 Vk56 swapped into an 07 Frontier with mp122 stillen supercharger. New 960cc injectors with authentic Walbro 525. Running haltech elite 2500 currently (previously attempted hp tuners on 08 ecu)
After installing S/c and doing some slight road tuning ran great but (in every gear except 1st) at exactly 3200 rpm it hits a wall (wideband leans out completely in that moment). If accelerating hard after passing 3200 rpm’s, issue is not present and pulls great to limiter. With either engine management and with auto or manual transmission, issue is the same. No issues before 3200 rpm. No issue if waiting after 3200.
Do not believe it’s a tuning issue as the issues are the same between both factory Ecu and haltech. I’m beginning to think it’s a trigger hardware issue.
Update: After looking at the logs I’m losing trigger sync (injection and ignition signal) only at 3150-3300 rpm’s. Is not dependent on load. I have an oe crank sensor on the way. Wiring tests good.
