Hello,

I have a Honda with a supercharged B18C. I would like to install a wastegate with boost control and will be using a turbosmart 4 post boost solenoid. Is it ideal to connect the boost source right before the throttle body?

Thanks and regards

There's no 'right' place to take the pressure source. The pressure will be highest at the SC outlet pre intercooler and consequently slightly lower just before the throttle body. If you're venting boosted air using the wastegate (I assume that's how you're intending to use it) then I'd suggest taking the pressure source from pre-throttle.

Hi Andre,

Yes will be venting boosted air. That's what I thought as well. Will be more accurate since it will be the boost pressure entering the intake. Thanks alot for your help!

Regards

Mark
