Hi guys, I have the opportunity to install one of these two ecu's (Fast xfi 2.0 or MS3 pro) on my personal car. that car is powered by:
a Plymouth 426 based hemi, with a 6/71 supercharger, MSD 6AL with pro billet distributor, 4 speed manual, chassis car.
The plan is to do drag and drive 1/4 mile racing, so something robust is preferred. Planning on using batch fire on the injectors above the blower.
I've removed both of these systems and replaced them with holley systems for my job, and the boss has said I can keep one to save it going in the trash. If I was spending money on any of them, I'd probably go for fuel tech or holley. However money is tight so saving a couple grand on engine management would be huge.
I'm leaning towards the MS3 as it seems to have gotten updates here and there still. Other folks I've talked to have told me that the FAST system is easier to use, but I've also heard that it aged like milk.
One thing to note is that I'm pretty new to tuning in general, and have only done mail order tunes previously through SCT and HP tuners
Would love to hear what you guys think.
