This question has been asked before but not really answered or maybe I’m making this too difficult. I totally understand everything about the process of degreeing the camshafts. The question is on the RB25 head, if I make a solid cam follower to use and set the gears perfectly, what happens when you remove the camshaft after to fit the hydraulic followers back in place? Will that not throw everything you just did out the window?

What am I missing?

There should be NO problem, as you've indexed the camshaft to the sprocket or pulley.
