In this video example, it seems the system is behaving just like the 2-step. Correct me if I am wrong, but since DI6 is being used as the activation signal, and since this is connected to the clutch, as soon as the clutch is released, launch control is no longer active hence why the wheel speed/RPM is not being properly controlled?
The clutch switch will still activate the launch control system, however we now have a 2D table of launch rpm vs ground speed and this will limit the engine rpm until the deactivation speed is exceeded.
