Hello!, I am from Spain, I have a Evo IX RS with LINK G4 and I am starting in this world....
I have vievew that I have in the VVT menu the Error Counter because there are extra pulses.
Then, I have make the test of the pulses of the trigger to calibrate like the Webinar and tell me the following with (6 Pulses), (42.7º).
Then, I have changed the offset and the counter increase another one..the error don´t disspear.
And I have make a video in youtube with 40º and then with 42.7º, and if you view that, the solenoid make 100% and the position don´t move...when the offset is 40º...I think that happends anything in my car.

What can I do to avoid "extra pulses error"?, please.
Thank you, Javier
There was at one point a firmware bug to do with the EVO IX VVT system in the G4+ and we actually struck that while we were filming this course. I'd start by making sure that you're on the latest firmware. There's something strange going on with the pulse angles you're seeing reported in the runtime screen as it's reporting two pulses at both 400 deg and 609 deg which isn't correct.
Let us know how you get on with the firmware and if that helps. I may need to run this past a tech at Link to get a definitive answer.
Hi Andre!!thank you for your replay, I have purchased the LINK G4+ course and Launch control and I am learning a lot!, is fantastic.
Mi Ecu is Link G4, not G4+ but I have installing the last Firmware.
Thank you.
