Hi All,

I have a Link Kurofune powering my 95 Evo 3, replaced the HKS V pro the car came with. I am running an AEM X series AFR gauge, wired into the ECU both with analog and CAN. My question is, does the car need the OEM upstream and down stream o2 sensors? Or can it run with only the wideband as reference? I ask because the front upstream o2 sensor is a very old 2 wire sensor, not sure if worth replacing or if it is even necessary. Thank you!

No the narrowband is not needed and there is no advantage from having it, just a single wideband is fine. Turn off the analog input or use it for something else, keep the CAN connection.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
