Tell us a little about you. What cars you are interested, where you are from and why you are interested in learning to tune.
Hello guys, Gabriel here from Scotland. I love cars and is always been a dream to build my own engine. I owned few great car, had 4 E46 M3's, than a E60 M5 V10, had a few V8 E92 M3, than had a F80 M3 and now.
I can proudly say I never took my car to a mechanic, other than bits which required a lift. I worked on cars since I was a kid, I feel very capable in sorting things myself.
I now own a scissors lift and a 750kg capable hydraulic lift at home its a dream. I'm happy to own a R35 Nissan GTR, which gave me 2 issue only lol over the passed 3 years, but nothing to serious. My first issue with the car was a small oil leak from the turbo feed line.
So I decided to remove the engine and fix that lol. I ended up doing bigger turbos, timing chain, all tensioners, guide, gaskets, turbo feed lines, powder coating, water pump, thermostat lool it was great, I put the motor back together and is running like a pro, fixed all the leaks and the engine just feels stronger its is currently stage 4.5 around 750bhp, I must have got used to it as I'm now thinking is slow lool.
I'm now building a brand-new fully forged engine for the GTR, in which I'm looking to squeeze 1000whp with supourting modifications, this will be a street build. Bumped into few bumps :) with my build, because unfortunately we also relay into machine shop to do their job properly. I have posted another thread with the issues I run into hoping too get some answers to my questions.
I'm very exited to learn a lot more.
Greetings from Scotland.
Gabriel :)
