Hi there, my name is Ilan and I drive a 2004 Nissan 350z. I always thought I would drive an Mazda MX-5, aspired to drive a Lotus Elise, but the opportunity to buy this Z came up first. I love racing and getting out to the track as much as learning how to maintain, repair and modify my car. I’ve put quite a lot of effort into fixing and upgrading my Z and I get a lot of enjoyment out of DIY. When I bought it, I was its 5th owner and it had 100k miles on it and wasn’t in the best of shape. I’ve since brought it back to its former glory and then some. I’m now focused on dialing in handling and getting as much seat time at the track as I can. Eventually, I would like to compete in local Time Attack series. If anyone else is in the area or regularly goes to either Sonoma Raceway, Laguna Seca or Thunderhill Raceway it would be great to meet you.
