Tell us a little about you. What cars you are interested, where you are from and why you are interested in learning to tune.
Hi all,
I've been a long time watcher and enjoyer of the free HP Academy content and lurker in the forums and have recently purchased the tuning courses so now I can post!
The science of EFI tuning has always been something I've been very interested in and recently I have been tinkering with my Link G4 trying to tidy up a few gremlins such as improving cold start/warmup enrichment maps.
Over the last 20 years I've owned and modified many different JDM cars: skyline(r32, r33 and r34), silvia s14, fx7 fd, evo iv, sti v7, laurel c34.
My current car that I've owned for about 5+ years now and plan to keep forever is a 1990 Skyline r32 gts-t type m coupe with a few upgrades:
- s2 rb25det from a late model Stagea
- rb25det manual gearbox which I purchased brand new
- custom hx35 turbo
- link g4 plug in ECU
- aem wideband connected to ECU via CAN
- upgraded fuel system
- some suspension upgrades
Currently makes 460hp at the wheels @22psi on a hub dyno and is a very nice street setup but is probably pushing the limits of the unopened engine.
Welcome and thank you for joining HPA!
