Tell us a little about you. What cars you are interested, where you are from and why you are interested in learning to tune.
I'm 21 years old and living in the Netherlands, but i'm originally from a small island in the Caribbean called Aruba. I've been an Automotive enthousiast ever since I was born. And I say Automotive because I actually have more of a passion for several types of motor vehicles rather than only cars. I also like boats, planes, agriculture vehicles, bikes (I think I like bikes a little more then the rest :)...) and many more probably.
I think I can blame my passion on my beautiful Island of Aruba and my father. Aruba has primarily adopted culture from The States and Japan, so we like classic muscle cars (I mean who doesn't), Harley Davidson Motorcycle clubs, dragracing, monster trucks etc. from The States. And we like the drifting and JDM culture from Japan. So it's a bit of mix of all the goodness. Added to the mix is also our own culture; it's called 'FEVER'. It's when you mix crazy arabian highway drifting with loud, fire breathing, extended swingarm having high cc sportbikes. I'd like you to search it up on Youtube instead of me trying to explain it on here. You either hate it or love it. It's a part of culture. And that's why I wanted to take a moment to share some of it on this forum. Because it's my culture.
I just became a member of HP Academy today and i'm looking forward to the ocean of knowledge I am about to obtain in the coming time. I plan to base my tuning knowledge for my Automotive company on the online courses from HP Academy.
To really visualize my interests I would like to share my dream garage divided in two types of motor vehicles; cars and bikes, with my top 3 picks for each category. I'll keep it at 3 vehicle maximum per category because if i didn't set a limit, the list would be much longer. I also would like to give my top 3 for planes and boats but I haven't given any thought about them yet and I doubt i'll ever be wealthy enough for them xD, so the bikes and cars should be kind of realistic.
Cars
- 1967-1968 Ford Mustang Fastback
- Nissan GT-R Nismo
- 2023 Dodge RAM 1500 TRX
Bikes
- Yamaha R1M
- 2002 - 2005 Harley Davidson FXDX
- Harley Davidson Street Glide
These are my picks for now. They will probably change over time. As they always do because I fall in love with different vehicles frequently. Please reply your dream garage, I would like to see them. It's always interesting to see the line-ups or maybe fall in love with new vehicles as I do every now and then.
Welcome! Great collection.
