Have seen HPA at WTAC many times and finally decided to get a little more serious with my build for (hopefully) my 7th WTAC in Oct 2023 :)

Have enrolled in the fabrication course as I have a new bumper/splitter to fit as well as make it quick release to make it easier to load. Further I am also addicted to data collection and analysis :(

I have a Mazda MX5 NA6 with a naturally aspirated BP motor, that makes around 200 RWHP. Engine has just been refreshed after 10,000 race KM's. Its first outing after the refresh (WTAC 2022) was not a pleasant experience, the car was plagued with oil leaks and other mechanical issues, simply no shakedowns before the event :(

Despite the 2022 performance, I did manage to get the car around the Queensland Raceway Sprint layout in 58.18, fastest in my class.

Facebook Video:

I forgot to have the cameras on for the fastest lap, I did manage to get a decent lap... a 58.49.

Car is also having a wrap done, this will be finished when the bumper/splitter is finished :)

Looking forward to using the skills from this course to further develop the car!

Hopefully will see HPA at WTAC 2023 as well!
