Hey guys!! My name is Lou. I have a 89 nissan s13 with a rb25 running haltech plat pro, racepak iq3 data logger and a smartwire. im pretty much done with the mech part of my car and i want to try to learn how to tune my motor myself. i purchased a bunch of modules in the aid of me learning (wiring fundamentals, efi tuning, understanding afr, dyno tuning, launch control, boost control, and road tuning, it was a package). but i really feel lost!! but i haven't got threw all my classes yet. so hopefully by the time i finish them i will have a better understanding. im sure i will be posting in the very near future so hope to meet some of u soon. thanks guys in advanced.

Hi Lou,

Welcome to HPA, if you have any question just ask them, that's the whole point of this forum.

How did you find the instal of the RB in the S body?

pritty str8 forward with mounts, d/s, and chasebay harness. did my own plumbing tho.

Which mounts etc did you use? we used syko mounts and it's left the sump very low

I finished one last year and had to modify the wiring specialties loom to suit the front facing plenum that was installed.

I used McKinney mounts. I think that's how u spell it lol. But the sump doesn't look to low to the ground. It's about the same distance from the ground as the sway bar.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
