Hi everyone. I've been working on cars as an enthusiast for a long time, done most things, engine rebuilds, most maintenance and so on, generally successfully but mostly self taught so I'd like to remove some of the guesswork by doing some of the courses on this platform. Currently I'm signed up for Suspension Set Up and Engine Building as I am restoring 2 x 40 year old Triumph TR6s, these cars are interesting in that they used an early entirely mechanical fuel injection system and whilst the detail is of course different the principles are in many ways similar to the modern EFIs so in time want to do the tuning course as well. Really fascinating how much those engineers back then achieved with purely mechanical control.

One of the cars I will restore close to original but the other one I will restomod and have already built a new chassis for (hence the suspension set up course), have engine rebuilds for both of them and want to significantly upgrade the restomod one so hence the Engine Building. Bit different perhaps from much of the focus on this platform but I think it will be interesting, might set up the restomod one for a few hill climbs etc if it turns out capable.

Thats it for now, I'll post a few pics later and welcome any commentary or advice.
