Tell us a little about you. What cars you are interested, where you are from and why you are interested in learning to tune.
Hi all,
I am getting started with EFI tuning after reading and investigating for several years. The subject is my -86 Corvette with a 350 small block and TPI.
First step will be to replace the stock ECU with a standalone, after that is running well there will be more updates culminating in supercharged forced induction. Likely that this will be several years from now...
Right now, I'm learning and planning the wiring and replacement ECU. I'm leaning towards Haltech Nexus, but I haven't made the final decision yet.
Glad to be here, and looking forward learning a ton of new things.
Hey there Pär, welcome to HPA!
Solid plan! Andre did a recent webinar on this topic covering a few different approaches just in case that helps: https://www.hpacademy.com/previous-webinars/362-converting-your-engine-to-efi-watch-this/
One of the team here, Connor, just converted his 240Z to EFI as well, funnily enough with a Haltech Nexus R3. He has enjoyed the project so far although he's not going as far as you are and is keeping his N/A. That's what he says for now anyway haha
Hope you enjoy the project!
