What you guys recomend if i want to add aditional sensor for my toyota 86 package

Im gonna add

Fuel press

Oil press

Oil temp

Since motec did not have temp sensor which go higher than 130c should i use autometer ?

You could use a Denso 89422-33030 ECT sensor from a Toyota 2GR-FE engine, these have a range of -50° to 200° and a calibration exists for them in M1 Tune.

The reason that most temp sensors have a range from -20° to 130° is that the thermistor used in the sensor gives that temperature range within the 5V signal from most ECU's. Most of the sensors that I have calibrated have a very similar calibration curve to them.

If you have oil temps over 130° then I would be looking at resoling those issues, as most oils do not like extended periods at those temperatures.

Hey thanks rex. You are great. I will use em.
