Hello everyone,
Using a M130 with GPRP package - I am wondering if there is a way to use warning modes to trigger throttle shutoff and or other system controls without use of custom script. I notice that the throttle servo faults will trigger an engine speed limit that is customizable, however lets say there is a throttle pedal diagnostic warning, or brake system diagnostic warning, is there a way to configure either a throttle closing result or engine speed limit for those faults? Or some sort of fuel control safety measure? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Jacob,
There's a built in safety measure for loss of fuel pressure, but it's engine speed based in that package.
When using a torque based package, you can select a torque limit and/or engine speed limit during a warning, which will employ throttle as part of reducing torque. The GTR, lambo GPR Pro packages have this, perhaps others, but last time I used GPRP this wasn't present. You may want to check just in case there's been an update.
Without that, you can use the pedal translation switch to enable a setting which allows typical translation between 0-25% throttle, but perhaps 100% pedal sensor input results in 26%, during certain warning states. Alter those values as you see fit, but hopefully that gives the idea.
